HIV/AIDS

HIV and AIDS are conditions that are compromising the health of individuals across the globe. The immense suffering caused by this disease is a result of the gradual degeneration of the immune system, making it harder for the body to fight infections.

IMRIC's research with the University of Manitoba is researching HIV/AIDS and the development of a natural resistance to this and other infectious diseases so that one day the spread of this disease can be stopped in its tracks.
