Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD)

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder is the leading known cause of developmental disability in Canada. Innocent children contract this disorder due to maternal consumption of alcohol during pregnancy.

The collaboration between IMRIC and the University of Manitoba is hoping to reduce the severity and incidence of FASD and to ensure that no child will ever have to suffer from this debilitating disorder ever again.
